In the 84 years I’ve had in this world, I spent 55 of them being an officer of the peace, doing my best to maintain order in our area. Being an officer is stressful because people are arrogant. They will always defend their side even if they had obviously committed a crime or deliberately caused trouble. All this hassle just to escape justice. I farm on the side. Farming is my outlet to the stresses and worries in my life. When I farm, time slows down and life becomes peaceful. It even provides my family and I vegetables to eat. Maybe this is why I’ve become so patient in dealing with others, and why I’ve been blessed with such a long life.
