It was love at first sight – yes, I believe at love at first sight. The first time I saw her, her eyes were sparkling, her smile was so bright, and her posture was really upright. I was so happy that she will be my wife. Just like other Muslims, our marriage was arranged. At that moment, I also hoped that she felt the same way – that she will not just marry me because our families said so. And she did feel the same way. When she said that to me, my heart pounded so hard as if it wanted to jump with me because of so much joy. I am so grateful that it was not hard to love her. I keep loving her more every single day.
